In this months craft class one of the projects we made was this adorable 3D watering can.
It is filled with roses made from A Rose is a Rose stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue on page 44. First we stamped out the roses, then cut them out, We then built them up on a piece of card that is shaped a bit like a funnel. which has plenty of space for you to write a message on then placed this in side the watering can.
I used the same idea to make this shadow card for my Mums Birthday (no worry's about her seeing it she doesn't have a computer) This time I put a bow on the bottom of the roses and then cut up to the bow in thin strips to make it look like stalks the butterflys are from the stamp set Touch of Nature.

Not just for Christmas
Yes I know I'm mad and it's only August but I've already had a few of my ladies buy their Christmas stamps, so I thought I had better do the same and make up some cards to show off
how versatile this stamp set is.
the stamp set is Season Of Joy (cat no. 110384) and can be used all year round and not just for Christmas by changing the the colours of the flowers and the wording you would have a lovely
card for any occasion The swirl stamp is the same it looks so elegant and can be used on all sorts of projects, and the word block once stamped can be cut up into individual words or just part of the stamp inked up using the stampin' up ! markers. I'm having so much fun with this set I think I'll end up with far more cards than I need .

Happy Stampin'
This was the card I made for the Peterborough field trip swap.
At which I meet some very talented ladies even if the evening was slightly delayed by the ever so lovely eye candy provided by the local fire brigade:-)
I love the colour combination of this card . it was inspired by my cousin's wedding.
Her bridesmaid's wore chocolate coloured dresses(UM..... my favourite colour)
With lots of couples living together before the big day its sometimes difficult to decide what to buy them, so giving a gift card can be a good option.
in the picture shown above it is slipped inside the card holder on the front of the card.

This is the flip flop scrapbook that we will be doing at this months workshop. We'll be making the basic scrapbook that you'll be able to take home and finish using your own photos and embellishments to the theme of your choice. I've made the one shown above using a friends theme. I've just got to add the photos and a bit of journaling or maybe I'll give it to them as a birthday present and they can finish it for themselves.
The scrapbook when closed is approx 6"x 6" and 18" x6"when opened flat
and extending to 24" x 6" when inner pages are opened.
I hope you will be able to come along and join us to have some fun and make some new friends as well.
